Fr Augustine Ifeanyi Obi is a priest of the Catholic Diocese of Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. He is a highly qualified academic with a Ph.D. in Philosophy and extensive experience in lecturer, tutor, and student support roles within the tertiary sector at the Australian Catholic University, University of Melbourne and School of Critical Arts, Perth, Australia. Prior to co-founding the Heart2Built Initiative with Onyii Ralph Nwachukwu in 2022, Fr Augustine worked as a university lecturer, Chaplain, Parish Administrator and School Principal. He is passionate about journeying with young people with the goal of embedding strong values which guide future thinking and practices. Fr Augustine’s vision is to empower young Nigerians with the critical skills and supportive strategies they need to build a better future for themselves.
